Spread Christ to the Nations. Go on a Mission Trip.

A church on the move empowers churches around the world to move in their nations and communities.

Whether your involvement is with a country that is developed or underdeveloped, near or far, all nations are in need of a Savior. You can make a difference that is on the move and that lasts in the global Church through your involvement.

The International Outreach Ministry currently partners with seven primary strategic initiatives in Cuba, Poland, Central Asia, India, East Africa, West Africa and Sweden. In addition, International Outreach supports and encourages nearly 50 church members who have answered God’s call to serve in full-time missions outside the U.S.

Opportunities for Involvement

  • Go
International Outreach offers dozens of short-term trips each year to introduce you to the partners and their work. Seeing the mission field with your own eyes can change your worldview and help you better understand the physical and spiritual needs of people everywhere.
  • Give
If you tithe at Southeast, you are already involved. The church invests 16.5 percent of contributions to local, U.S. and International Outreach. However, most missionaries have financial needs beyond what they receive from their supporters and more is needed for ministries to grow. Email Julie Snipp to find out how you can give to a specific mission trip or call us at (502) 253-8069.
  • Pray
Our missionaries are on the front lines of battle. They need you. Through your prayers they will be strengthened and you will become a part of their mission. Together, your actions and prayers will help extend the Kingdom of God. Click on Prayers for Missionaries for a list of current prayer request. Adopt one of our missionaries through the HUG a missionary program.
  • Learn
If you’re a learner and want to know more about God’s plan for the world, International Outreach sponsors two courses of study and one of the largest medical missions conferences in the world: Perspectives on the World Christian Movement, Encountering the World of Islam and the Global Missions Health Conference.
Upcoming Events
  • Perspectives on the World Christian Movement Date: 08/09/2010 Perspectives on the World Christian Movement is more than a course—it is a movement. Believers are challenged to see the world through God’s eyes in four sections of material. Have you ever thought about your unique worldview? Do we judge everything through filters and, if so, how does that affect us when we are in a different culture? Come discover if the Lord is calling you to go to the nations, pray for, or send others to the nations.

You will learn about great missionaries like William Carey, Hudson Taylor, and Cameron Townsend and their impact on current and current and future generations.

The class will be held at the Indiana Campus on Monday's starting Aug 9th till December 12, 2010. The class starts at 6:30pm and ends at 9:30pm
