About the College Age ministry

The College-Age Community would like to welcome you to Southeast Christian Church! This is your church too. Here at Southeast, we have a shared vision to be a praying church that reaches out and challenges everyone to follow Jesus completely. This vision is not just for the preachers or the staff; we believe that the vision of this church is for you too.

There is not a specific worship service for college-age students at Southeast. Instead, you’ll find faithful college-age young adults throughout the church that worship alongside multiple generations of people while learning what it means to follow Jesus together in their everyday lives. We are becoming a multi-generational family on mission together.

The College-Age Community is also all about being disciples of Jesus Christ that make disciples! We believe disciple-making happens best in community, so we offer House Groups where people can connect and grow. Our hope is that every college-age young adult will get involved in a house group. We desire for college-age young adults to belong to the local church family and engage the life of the church right now! Welcome to the church family! Check out any of the other links on this page, or contact us as you begin your journey here.

What happens in a House Group?

  • We share a common meal – The simple sharing of food is the essence of friendship. Anyone is welcome at the table as they are. It is a great opportunity to celebrate the life of one another in the company of God and to invite others into the family of God.
  • We share burdens – Deep friendship is not to be void of sharing our burdens, learning the art of listening to one another, and how to be dependent on one another through prayer.
  • We share faith – We encourage one another in the faith through deep devotion to one another, His Word, and to being disciples that make disciples.
  • We share a common mission – We are a people on the move loving our city through serving our city in the name of Jesus.

When does a House Group meet?
