Southeast Membership Required Candidates for the following positions must be members of Southeast or willing to become members if employment is offered.
Blankenbaker Campus
International Outreach Partnership Ministry Assistant Do you have the specific call and passion for missions? Are you one who can serve as an advocate for member missionaries with the goal of making them feel personally connected to Southeast and to our ministry? This individual will be the one who represents them to our committee, members, groups, and staff, as well as steward of our support in the most effective way possible for the growth of God’s kingdom. They will also work with Ministry Development Team and Committee members on strategy development, planning ministry events, brainstorming, and long-range planning. This person will have the opportunity to share information about strategy with other churches and missions committees. While managing the partnerships with our supported Southeast member missionaries, the successful candidate will also meet with missionary candidates to provide guidance, advice, and resources. Evaluations and recommendations will be made on their behalf to the Missions Committee for financial support, and continual development of the guidelines for support will exist. Short-term teams will be facilitated to member missionaries which includes choosing team leaders, budgeting, and recruiting. This person will be responsible for the oversight of the member missionary budget as well as their financial reporting. Investigation and evaluation of new resources for missionaries and candidates will be on-going, and site visits to fields will be arranged as needed for evaluation or encouragement purposes. Constant care/prayer and connecting opportunties for member missionaries and candidates (includes commissionings/prayer sendoffs, periodic encouragement meetings) are necessary and must be provided. Excellent communication and pastoral skills as well as gifts of discernment and administration are required. There will be three (3) to four (4) weeks of travel required each year. Preferred but not required are training or experience in missions, missionary care, and/or a counseling background.
Part-time:
Fitness Assistant The Sports & Fitness Ministry is seeking a part-time Fitness Assistant position. Responsibilities will include: Assisting the Fitness Manager in all aspects of the Fitness Ministry; Group Fitness, Strength Programs, Mini Marathon Training, Fitness Assessments, and Boot Camp both practically and administratively. A focus on Group Fitness will be a strong emphasis in this position. The role will work with the Fitness Manager in continually researching the Fitness Industry in order to keep the ministry on level with professional standards and striving to run all programs with excellence. Some flexibility in scheduled hours will be necessary for this role. The applicant’s desire to encourage and invest in the ministry volunteers and to work together as a team are vital to the success of this ministry. A creative mind and some computer skills (Word®, Excel®, PowerPoint®, and Publisher®) will also be required. Our preferred candidate will have Group Fitness experience in a lead capacity.
Facility Care Housekeeping
The Facility Care team of the First Impressions Ministry has an immediate opening for a part-time housekeeping employee. Primary responsibilities involve cleaning classrooms and common areas. The ideal candidate would have some general cleaning experience, attention to detail, and be self motivated. A humble attitude and spiritual gifts of service and encouragement would be a plus!
Oldham Campus
Student/Family Discipleship Pastor Are you passionate about discipleship? Do you desire to create a movement of multiplication that expands over time? Southeast Oldham Campus needs someone to launch a strategic two-fold initiative to “Awaken a Generation to the Glory of God.” Your primary responsibilities would be to 1) train and equip parents to disciple their students at home and 2) come alongside families to develop a community of Christ-following students who gather for prayer, worship, study, service, and equipping—preparing them to live out the great commission in their everyday lives. You would also oversee a team of gifted lay leaders who help facilitate this student community in both large group and small group home settings. We are seeking a humble, team player who is gifted in shepherding and leadership development with good communication and people skills. A strong work ethic is a must. The ideal candidate would have 5+ years ministry experience with a proven track record of effective discipleship within the body of Christ.

Southeast Oldham Campus needs someone to launch a strategic two-fold initiative to aid in the discipleship of the next generation. Your primary responsibilities would be to 1) train and equip parents to disciple their children at home and 2) come alongside families to develop a community of Christ-following children who gather weekly for worship, prayer, and equipping—preparing them to live out the great commission in their everyday lives. You would also oversee a team of gifted lay leaders who help facilitate a) children’s worship for grades K-4 and b) Christ-centered childcare for birth through preschool. We are seeking a humble, team player who is gifted in the oversight of Children’s Ministry as well as recruiting and shepherding others who are passionate about working with children. A strong work ethic is a must. The ideal candidate would have 5+ years Children’s Ministry experience with a proven track record of effective leadership within the body of Christ.
Adminstrative Assistant The Oldham Campus of Southeast Christian Church is currently seeking an individual to serve as an Administrative Assistant with the Adult, First Impressions, and Youth/Family ministries. This person would be responsible for, but not limited to, coordinating and working with ministry volunteers, managing team calendars, answering phones, working with all aspects of department budgets, and managing ministry needs in Arena database. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of Microsoft Office®, be self-motivated, organized, be able to prioritize, and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience of recruiting, training, and utilizing volunteers is preferred.
Indiana Campus
Indiana Campus Administrator We are seeking an individual to serve as a Campus Administrator for the Indiana Campus of Southeast Christian Church. We will be seeking someone with the capacity to: help implement the overall vision of the Indiana Campus, provide oversight/leadership and coaching of the operations aspect of the staff, someone with strong communication skills who is able to serve as the liaison between the Indiana Campus and the Blankenbaker Campus, an individual who possesses the ability to coordinate with the Blankenbaker Campus staff regarding Accounting, HR, First Impressions, Legal, Facilities, budget related matters, and other details as necessary. This individual will also assist with the oversight of lay leadership/volunteer teams and assisting the Pastor with ministry needs such as leading training sessions for volunteers and volunteer teams. A candidate of interest will have proven experience regarding: spiritual as well as professional leadership, proven ability working among as well as leading dynamic teams, have excellent budget skills, as well as strong problem solving/conflict resolution gifts. The qualified candidate will have proven experience in a like role or the gifts necessary to excel in such a role; (our Campus Administrator role would be the equivalent of an executive pastor in another church setting).
* Support Positions - While Southeast members are preferred for staff support positions and will be given preference over non-members, applicants who are active members of other churches, are immersed believers, and who agree to and will sign Southeast's Statement of Faith may be considered for staff support positions.
