About Uptown Worship
Uptown Worship is designed for kindergarten through fifth grade students. Students begin their worship experience in small group. They continue by joining together for an age-appropriate worship service. Every aspect of worship is designed to reinforce our BIG Idea for the month. Students sing high-energy worship songs, memorize Scripture, and participate in interactive Bible teaching and communion. After worship they break into discussion with their small groups.
We encourage parents to get involved with what your child is studying and to make applications throughout the week. We offer several resources to assist you. Each month we issue a new edition of the Mom & Dad Connection newsletter including information about what your child is learning and ideas to keep the learning going at home. Children in first through fifth grade typically receive a God Time card every week with activities to help your child spend time with God each day.
We also recommend visiting and using studio252.tv – It’s a great resource that complements our curriculum and provides fun tools to help kids continue the learning.
