Honor our heroes in the military
this Fourth of July

The ambush began before daylight as Lt. Col. Wendell Calhoun and a National Afghan Army Unit searched for insurgents, IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) and weapon caches in a village near the Pakistan border in January 2006. Calhoun, a member of Southeast, was imbedded with the Afghan National Army unit as they supported the Third Marines.              FULL STORY
