Mission

In our mission to connect people to Jesus and one another, Southeast Christian Church has grown into a unified multisite community. We currently have six campuses serving the specific needs of the areas in which they are located, while receiving centralized leadership and teaching from the Blankenbaker Campus in Louisville, KY.

While God and the Bible are the ultimate authority for Southeast Christian Church, there is a leadership structure to keep the day-to-day operations and ministry of the church moving correctly.

The leadership of Southeast has a few integral parts. First, elders. Southeast is first and foremost an elder-led church. The elders provide oversight, vision, and guidance to the corporate side of the church and most importantly the spiritual side of the church.

Second, pastors. Senior Pastor Dave Stone and Teaching Pastor Kyle Idleman provide the leadership and everyday decision making for the paid staff, along with the Lead Team. The Lead Team includes Dave and Kyle and several key leaders on staff. The paid staff is made up of full-time ministry staff, full-time support staff, and part-time ministry and support staff.

At the end of the day, the Southeast leadership hopes that the office work our staff completes reflects God and brings the members and attendees that much closer to the Father.

Do you believe that Jesus is your Lord and Savior? At Southeast, we believe this is the most important question you will answer in your lifetime.

Why should I join Southeast?

  1. Membership is a demonstration of your commitment to Jesus and to the church’s core beliefs, values, and mission.
  2. Becoming a member empowers and allows you to serve in more ways at Southeast.
  3. Membership is an important first step to greater involvement in the powerful work God is doing here.

How do I join?

Come forward and talk to a Decision Guide—An opportunity is given at the close of each weekend service for any believer to walk forward, talk to a Decision Guide, and become a member of Southeast.

Being a resource for reporters and photographers with an interest in Southeast or a topic important to people of faith is one role of the Communications Team at Southeast Christian Church.

Share your story idea or request specific information about Southeast. Make sure to include your contact information, including media outlet identification, in your email. We can reply more quickly, effectively, and accurately based upon the detail you provide. We will get in touch with the appropriate person or persons and arrange for an interview, photo opportunity, or other request.

E-news releases about classes and events at Southeast are sent regularly to media outlets in the area. If you, or a specific reporter, would like to receive those electronic releases, email our press contact to be added to that distribution list.

All media representatives are escorted when working on any Southeast campus. We ensure the privacy of our congregation and guests and facilitate journalistic inquiries while accompanying all members of the media on our campuses. We will notify Security at Southeast as part of this process. If the Security team is not properly notified, delays will occur. Media representatives without an approved media escort will be required to wait until a member of the Communications Team can arrive, assess the request, and make all necessary arrangements.

Media representatives may park in Lot A in spaces designated for visitors.

CRISIS OR DISASTER GUIDELINES

If a crisis situation develops or a disaster occurs, Southeast Christian’s goal will be for members of the media to receive accurate information in a timely manner. We will need to work closely together to quickly provide this information.

The media will be directed to a designated area to receive news releases and updates. In most instances, we will share this information on the Blankenbaker Campus in the Fireside Room. This room is located directly inside our main entrance on the first floor.
