Jesus said:

“I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

In the Care Ministry we know that life has many transitions and difficulties that arise. We are specifically trained to walk beside you through adversity and life challenges. Whether it be grief, illness, addiction, depression, broken relationships, personal sin, family dysfunction, or a host of other issues, we want to meet with you and support you on your journey of hope, healing, and spiritual renewal.

The Care Ministry offers several types of supportive Care designed to bring individuals, couples, and families from “Crisis to Community.” We have resources for your journey!

Pastoral Visitation

We are happy to visit and offer prayer for those who are in the hospital or nursing home. We have homebound communion available. We conduct funerals and support families in their grief.

Pastoral Care Counselors

A good place to start for personal support!

Pastoral Care has taken the place of Professional Counseling and is available at all campuses of Southeast Christian Church. If someone has a need, a trained Church Staff member can come alongside that person. You can meet individually with a trained Staff Member for Pastoral guidance, encouragement, and prayer. This is a free service for Church members and regular attendees, and is a good way to get started in the process.

Encounter Support & Recovery Groups

We have a wide selection of support groups (weekly) and workshops (various offerings throughout the year). These groups are available for anyone in our community to come and participate. Find a list of groups, times, and locations in the link below.
