Ministry Overview

As a vibrant and vital part of who we are as a church, we encourage our seniors to never cease in seeking God’s will. We offer fellowship opportunities, encourage the continuation of learning through classes, and provide training to reach out to others in your community.

Women's Circles

We have four different circles that meet monthly to provide spiritual growth through involvement in service to local and global missions and ongoing fellowship with one another. Our mission is to be faithful to God and each other. We serve with our hands, hoping to open the hearts of others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

The circles meet at different times and locations each month. For more information, please contact Jane Summay at 502.742.2146 or jane.summay@gmail.com.

Pickleball

Build friendships and stay active by playing Pickleball, an indoor sport for senior adults and all ages 14+. This group meets each week on Fridays at the Sports & Fitness Center on our Blankenbaker Campus for fellowship and competition.

Experienced players play from 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and beginners play from 12:30-2:00 p.m. No advance registration required. Equipment is provided. Open to the community.

Travel Group

The Southeast Travel Group is a well-kept secret that began about 15 years ago. After many years of planning family vacations, there has come a time where we enjoy being pampered, having our luggage handled, and being provided with a schedule that is catered to our needs. This group is especially handy for singles who desire the safety and enjoyment of traveling with friends. We share a time of devotion each morning followed by days of laughter as we travel between the beautiful and interesting sights of the USA.

Trips are planned based on the consensus of the group in attempt to fulfill bucket list destinations. We usually plan a short trip each Spring, a major trip each Summer, and another short trip in the Fall.

Our desire for this group is to find people who have a longing to travel and have adventure in their bones. If interested, please contact Bob Carpenter at 502.836.2277 or thecarp@twc.com.
