Each Thursday, support groups meet at our Blankenbaker Campus to help people experience growth, find hope, and receive help for a range of life situations—from everyday challenges to more severe crises. These groups come together every week for worship. On Thursday, April 13, the Encounter worship service will be centered around Easter, with Senior Pastor Dave Stone and Teaching Pastor Kyle Idleman speaking.

Discover the truth, mystery, wonder, and hope surrounding the death and resurrection of Jesus like never before. You’ll walk through an interactive, sensory-driven experience that will take you back to Jesus’ last days on earth and awaken you to the deep beauty of what His sacrifice means for us. Experience the tastes of the Last Supper, drive a nail into the cross, feel the weight of the wooden beam on your shoulder, and reflect on the history-altering moments at the cross and the tomb. Not recommended for children ages 10 and younger.

40 Days of Lent | Day 38: When the Sun Stopped Shining

Daily Scripture Reading: Luke 23:44-46 “…The sun’s light failed…” Luke 23:45 (ESV) The Bible says that while Jesus was on the cross from the sixth hour (noon) until the ninth hour (3:00 p.m.), “the sun’s light failed.” Clearly He wasn’t just another person that the Roman Empire crucified. Jesus said He was “the light of […]

Frequently Asked Questions

Our Children’s Ministry (SE!Kids) provides a safe, fun environment where kids ages birth-fifth grade can make new friends and learn about Jesus while parents attend the worship service in the Sanctuary. Learn more here. Pre-registration for Children’s Check-In will be available closer to Easter.
Students can join their families or friends in the main services during Easter weekend. There will be no separate student services or activities. Students who attend Southeast regularly will be invited to help serve during certain Easter services.
Services on Friday, April 14, will be Easter services rather than Good Friday services. We will celebrate Good Friday on the weekend of April 8/9.
At the two traditional services on Easter Sunday—7:30 a.m. at our Blankenbaker Campus and 8:30 a.m. at our Indiana Campus—we’ll sing hymns and hear teaching from Ken Idleman. Ken will speak live at the Blankenbaker Campus and via high definition video at the Indiana Campus. Ken is Vice President of Leadership Development at The Solomon Foundation, former president of Ozark Christian College, and retired Senior Pastor of Crossroads Christian Church, Evansville, IN (read his full bio here). The other services on Easter weekend will feature more contemporary-style worship songs and teaching from Senior Pastor Dave Stone and Teaching Pastor Kyle Idleman.
Senior Pastor Dave Stone and Teaching Pastor Kyle Idleman will be teaching together at all services (except for the traditional service and Easter Experience services). We believe bringing the church to the communities where our people live is a great way to reach more people in Kentuckiana with Jesus’ love. No matter which campus you visit this Easter weekend, you will hear the same message (live at the Blankenbaker Campus and via high definition video at our other sites) and experience live worship at all locations. Every campus has its own unique atmosphere, but wherever you go, you will be warmly welcomed. Choose what time or location is convenient for you and join us!
We’ll have people helping direct traffic and parking. Shuttles will be available at some campuses to take you to the building. While you might plan on adding some extra minutes to your travel time, our many services over Easter weekend allow for more parking and less traffic. If you are bringing children, don’t forget to also plan for time to check them into their classes.
The worship team will lead us in contemporary praise songs that tell what God has done, express our praise and devotion to Him, and allow us to encourage one another in following Christ. You can expect uplifting music that makes it easy for anyone to sing along. If you prefer time-honored hymns, you might enjoy the traditional services at our Blankenbaker or Indiana Campuses.
Come as you are! Whether you’d rather dress in a three-piece suit or jeans and a t-shirt, there is no dress code for our worship services—we just want to see you here!
Yes! We welcome anyone to join us this Easter—and every weekend!
