Career Transitions Workshop Series

Tuesdays • January 17-31 • 6:30-8:30 p.m. • Blankenbaker Campus • ATCR 200

This series of workshops will address the spiritual and practical challenges of a job transition season and will equip you for what lies ahead. Whether you are unemployed or anticipating a career transition, get the tools you need to find meaningful work that utilizes your God-given talents and passions.

Session 1 • Job Search and Interviewing

Learn practical job search techniques and sharpen your interviewing skills in this interactive workshop. Start and manage your search using technology to identify jobs that match your vocational plan. Participate in mock interviews and receive coaching that will help you achieve better outcomes.

Session 2 • Networking

Networking is an essential part of your job search. Learn to network effectively by cultivating positive relationships. Topics include building your network, developing your 30-second introduction, informational interviews, and the dos and don’ts of networking.

Session 3 • Social Media and the Job Search

Put your profiles to work by incorporating social media into your job search strategy. Learn how to build a strong profile, network online, and connect with the right job opportunities.
