Drechsel Home Group
Gary and Mary have been happily married almost 16 years. Gary, who enjoys woodworking, decided in 2007 to expand on this talent and build a log home. Gary and Mary have been living in this log home, that this team of two Drechsel's ‘literally’ built, for 8 years. They love having people in their home and sharing their love of the Lord there. Mary has been a writer since she was 8 years old and discovered an old Royal typewriter, on which she taught herself to type. Gary serves on the Production Arts Team at the Southwest Campus of Southeast, and Mary is a greeter and Bible study table group leader there. Developing relationships is something both cherish. They invite you to join their home group, where they hope to connect you to God and one another.

Daniel & Brandy were married in 2013 and have been praying for God to extend their family. When they have time, they enjoy traveling and have taken 3 cruises. Their favorite place they have traveled to is Costa Maya, Mexico where they got to visit the Mayan Ruins. They also enjoy spending time with their friends and family. They have been attending the Southwest campus since it opened and love it there. Daniel was born in Greenville, PA and after the Air Force relocated to Kentucky. He currently works in the IT field at Ft. Knox. and in his spare time, he enjoys hanging out in his man cave and learning new things going on in the IT world. Brandy was born in Louisville, KY. She works at a local fire protection company and in her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, true crime podcasts, and shopping. (She is also a major Friends fan!) Their prayer is that this group will be filled with love, laughter, and Jesus. Whether you have been walking with the Lord your entire life, or are still figuring things out - you are welcome here. If you are considering this group, please know that they do have both cats, and dogs in the home if you have any allergies. All animals will be contained during meeting times.

Paul and Melanie have been married since June 1994. They met in church and have lived in Louisville, Chicago (where they started their family) and back to Louisville - where they raised their son (who is adopted from Romania), and their daughter. They've almost entered the empty nester season of life, as both adult children are still at home. In this season they also have taken on an older family member. Paul is a cook, can quote back just about anything from movies and enjoys a good game of Risk. Melanie enjoys tending to her blackberry garden, sewing and connecting with others! If you're looking for a fun loving group full of laughter, growth from God's Word and connecting with others this group is for you!
