We are wanting to create a group to help people in Nelson County build community as Southeast plans to launch a new campus in Nelson County.

Kevin and Megan Lutz have been members of Southeast since 2010. They live on a farm in Nelson County and have one son, Kevin. Megan's prayer is that families in their community experience truth, know who they are in Christ, grow in His Word, and find belonging in God's great, big family! Everyone has a seat at their table. Cody and Stephanie Mackin have been married for 16 years and are foster parents. Steve and Angie Shultz have been married for 25 years and have one adult son. Steve retired from the Air Force and Cody was in the Army. They all enjoy hunting and spending time with family and friends. They look forward to focusing on the sermon series, building community, loving on people, and walking with others as they learn and grow in the their faith. Everyone is welcome, and refreshments will be available.

Nelson County Widows Group // Martena Hamilton

I am Martena Hamilton, a widow of 14 years. I recently joined Southeast Christian Church and was amazed by their welcoming spirit, their love for Jesus and community. Earlier this year, I joined a widows group in Bullitt County. This made me realize the need for Christian widow fellowship while supporting each other and studying the Word of our amazing Savior. God has put a calling on my heart to provide a meeting place in Nelson County. I think widows can sometimes feel left out and lonely once you have lost a spouse. Just know you are not alone and are welcome to join other widows to walk through this season of life.

We are James and Sheila Keeling. We are empty nesters on the north side of Bardstown. We've been members of SECC since 2016 and involved with in-home Bible study for many of those years. We also attend a Bible study class on campus at Blankenbaker after service on Sunday. Our in-home Bible study will meet on Tuesday evenings at 6:30, and we plan on having year-round Bible study with breaks for holidays, etc. Our home does have pets, if that is an allergy concern.

The Howards have been members of Southeast since 2014 and the Lowes recently moved from Arizona. We'll be hosting a couples group in the Woodlawn area preparing for the launch of the Nelson County Campus. Our prayer is that folks will come to know Jesus or that their faith in Him will be strengthened and we all will find community as we come together in His name. Can't wait to meet all of you as we grow together in Christ. All are welcome, and refreshments are served.
