Men Connecting to Jesus and One Another

The desire we have for the Men’s Ministry is to help every man at Southeast become the man God has called him to be. We want to take men on a journey of transformation—developing a strong relationship with God, for the pursuit of His Glory, and in constant worship of Him. Through challenging, equipping, and empowering the men of this region to lead, we desire to see healthy marriages, joy-filled homes, and safe neighborhoods.

Man Challenge

Every man needs two things: encouragement and accountability.

We have developed Man Challenge as an environment where all men are invited to come and get connected with other men. We offer both a teaching time and a small group time at each campus.

Man Challenge is specifically designed to help men grow in their faith TOGETHER.

Getting Equipped // Fall 2022
Blankenbaker
Getting Equipped (GE) is Bible reading, Bible memory, and Bible study to help a man develop spiritual rhythms and practices to enhance his walk with Christ. Done in Biblical community, GE'ers invest about two hours per week on their own—and then discuss what God's been teaching them in weekly facilitated small groups. GE'ers form strong friendships as they walk alongside fellow disciples of Jesus, learning about God and what He wants for them and from them. This is a 36-week commitment, with scheduled breaks.
Times Vary. Meets weekly for 75 minutes.

Men's Home Group // Harp and Penick
Bullitt County
Just as iron sharpens iron, one man sharpens another. This in-person group is for men aging from 25ish-40ish. Together, we will discuss how to be a Biblical man in the modern world. Each week we will watch and discuss short video units created by reputable leaders (no prep studying needed prior to the night) covering topics such as being a man of God, a passionate husband, a sacrificial leader, and having a lifestyle of integrity. This group will be led by Hunter Harp and Jon Penick. If you’re looking for a group where you show up once a week, take notes from a pastor and then never hear from anyone again until the following week, this will not be the group for you. This will be an interactive group with individuals who are broken just like everyone else. Outside of the study, you’re going to be invited to go fishing, play golf, watch the game, or just sit on the couch and chill. Join the group and you can add to the list of fun.

SW Men's Beach Trip
Join a small group of men from the SW campus as we travel to South Carolina for a men's retreat.
