No Other Gods
River Valley
Join us for our weekly women's group on Kelly Minter's No Other Gods study. Our lives revolve around our deepest needs and greatest treasures. Relationships. Family. Financial security. Private hopes and dreams. Most of our desires are healthy. Yet these longings can become passions we not only pursue, but worship. And while idol worship may seem like ancient history, we still face the modern-day equivalent, as natural needs slowly consume our hearts and minds, competing with God's rightful place in our lives. No Other Gods offers a revealing look at the heart of a woman. Author Kelly Minter explores what happens when good desires become false gods, robbing us of an intimate relationship with our heavenly father. So discover the freedom in surrender. The healing in worship. And the joy found in exchanging everyday gods for the one true God.

Moms of Young Kids: Intentional Parenting || Wednesday a.m.
Indiana
No matter how good their intentions, all parents at times resort to quick-fix parenting: things we do to stop a kid's negative or annoying behavior. Quick-fix parenting may temporarily ease a parent's stress level, but it does little to positively impact a child's future. Intentional parenting is the opposite of quick-fix parenting. Intentional parenting is a way to raise children to become healthy, independent young adults. It's based on solid principles which, applied over time, actually result in less-stressed parents and happier, better-adjusted, and more successful kids. Intentional parenting means you've got more than good intentions; you've got a plan. Join some other moms as we learn and grow together!

Happily || Wednesday a.m.
Indiana
In the beginning, marriage doesn't seem as though it should be all that difficult. But it doesn't take long for trouble to seep in and for bad habits to become entrenched. Before long, many married couples may be wondering when the "worse" part ends and the "better" part starts. This “Happily” study has good news: the "better" part is always within reach when eight specific commitments to each other are practiced. These commitments have the power to solve almost any problem a marriage faces, and to prevent new ones from occurring. With biblical insights and engaging personal stories, the author shows us how to see our marriages as bigger than ourselves, avoid both apathy and aggression, release the desire for power, make and maintain peace, endure difficult times, and more. Join this group of wives as we learn together!
