What is 215?

215 is a Residency program for those called to full-time vocational ministry. Residents spend two years being developed and equipped to serve in churches and ministries locally and throughout the world.

Are residents paid?

Residents are given a monthly stipend while they experience ministry and leadership. Single Residents have the opportunity to stay in a host home offered at no cost.

Is a college degree required?

Strong preference is given to college graduates, but exceptions can be made for college seniors committed to graduation with the ability to complete their degree online.

Can I attend seminary/grad school while enrolled in 215?

215 is a significant commitment. If the schedules for 215 and your graduate program are incompatible, you will need to choose one or the other.

What ministry concentration areas are available?

Residents can focus in Student Ministry, Adult Discipleship (Men’s, Women’s, Groups, New Members, etc.), Missions, Preaching, Production, Children’s Ministry, Care Ministry, and Worship.

Prepare Scholarships

PREPARE Scholarships are for students who attend Southeast, are committed to going into full-time ministry and attending a college that prepares them to do so. Applications for the 2024/2025 school year will be available soon. Please email the PREPARE Team with with any questions you have at prepare@secc.org.
