As we begin a new year, lets search Gods Word to see how Jesus repairs whats broken in us to prepare our lives for His glory.
Gods goodness and faithfulness have triumphed throughout 2017. Before we step into a new year, lets look back with worshipful wonder on the amazing things He has done.
The Other Side of Christmas
Sometimes our strained budgets, holiday busyness, and family bickering can turn Christmas into a dramatic day wed like to put past us. But this isnt merely a day to endure so we can get back to normal lifeGods people eagerly anticipated Christmas for centuries! When Jesus finally came into our broken world to make things right, He gave us access to a transformed way of life. Now, we dont need to wait in order to have true hope, peace, joy, and love. Here on the other side of Christmas, we have access to these blessings today, because we have Christ Himself.
God invites us on a mission to bless the world with the good news of Jesus. First, He works in us, filling us with His message and His truth. Whenever God blesses us, its so His blessing can flow through us to others. As He sends us out, God goes with us, and because of that we can live out the mission with confidence, knowing that He is for us. God works in us, through us, and for us so that every person can experience His glory.
Wisdom in a World of Chaos
The Bible isnt antiquated or out-of-dateits full of practical advice that guides us toward a life worth living. In a world wanting to choose its own way, make its own rules, and steer its own direction, the Word of God holds out an alternative: wisdom that transforms our lives not only because its helpful, but because its true.
In the book of Genesis, the story of Joseph begins with a dream. But in order for that dream to become reality, Joseph must overcome some obstacles in his life, moving from where he is to where hes meant to be. The same is true of us: God created us for a purpose, but obstacles fill the road between where we are and where Hes calling us to be. So, whats holding you back?
These days, a lot of folks think church is boring and Christians are dull. But when you take a look at the story Scripture tells, youll see that Gods people have always been party people! From the beginning, God has desired for His church to be filled with Christ-centered joy, celebrating His goodness and grace in every circumstance.

From Good Intentions to Intentional
We like to assume we have good intentions when it comes to how we think, act, and interact with others. We mean well at the end of the day! But all too often, our passive good intentions become an excuse for living mediocre, unintentional lives. Jesus has called us to so much morean intentional life of purpose in becoming more like Him.

Relationships matter. Walking in the power of Gods redeeming love, followers of Jesus are offered free access to the most vibrant friendships and family relationships in the world.
