Southeast Christian Church partners with moms and dads to help kids Know God and His love for them, Grow in faith and love Christ, and Show God’s love to others. Our programs meet kids right where they are and help them to discover God and His Word on their own level. We know that kids are not just the church of tomorrow, but they are the church of today!

Kids love SE!KIDS because the programs are fun and the volunteers take time to get to know each child’s name and story. Parents love SE!KIDS because the programming is educational and because safety/security is a top priority.

We encourage parents to know what your child is studying and make applications throughout the week. We offer several resources to assist you. Each month, we issue a new edition of the Mom & Dad Connection Newsletter with information about what your child is being taught and ideas to keep the learning going at home.

We also recommend visiting and using studio252.tv–It’s a great resource that complements our curriculum and provides fun tools to help kids continue to learn.

The safety of your child while in our care is of great importance to us.

In order for your child to attend any of our classes on the weekend, you will need to visit one of the Children’s Ministry Check-in Desks. If you are checking in more than one child, you will be able to check all of your children in at one time. Each weekend a trained volunteer will assist you in checking in your child. Please be sure to tell the volunteer that your child is staying for two hours if you plan to attend worship during the first service and volunteer during the second service. Your child will be given a room assignment and security/check-in tags. The tag will include a three-digit security code. Place the tag on your child’s shirt and drop your child off at his assigned room.

Remember to keep the other security tag. You will need that tag to pick up your child after service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Check in begins 20 minutes prior to service time.
Please visit any Children’s Ministry Welcome Desk. A trained volunteer will assist you. You will be asked to complete a brief form with some basic information. The form does not need to be completed fully before checking in your child, but we ask that you return the completed form to any Welcome Desk when picking up your child. To save time, click the following link to print off and fill out the New Household Registration Form to bring with you.
In an effort to ensure greater security, our check-in system will assign separate security codes for each of your children. You will notice the age of each of your children followed by their security code on your security tag. Make sure you keep your security tag because you will have to show it at each room you visit to pick up your children.
Everyone picking up a child must have a security tag. If you have lost your security tag, you will need to speak with a staff member and show your driver’s license to verify that you are who should be picking up the child.
That means we need you to come and care for your child. Please go directly to the room where you dropped off your child. A volunteer leader or staff member will meet you and let you know what your child needs. If you are unsure which room to go to, please find a staff member wearing a green SE!KIDS lanyard.
Nursery Photo

A fun and safe environment where kids grow in God's Word every week, the nursery exists to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which biblical teaching, Christian compassion, and servanthood are demonstrated and taught so that a life-long relationship with Jesus Christ can begin. We strive to plant eternal seeds from the very beginning–to be nurtured into a personal relationship with Jesus. We also want to connect kids with leaders and other kids, strategically partner with parents, and provide a safe and secure environment for the spiritual and physical care of your little ones

About Our Nursery

Our nursery offers a safe and loving environment for babies from Birth-24 months. Our rooms include swings, cribs, and age-appropriate toys. Our low teacher-to-child ratio allows babies to receive careful, individual attention. Babies 12 months and older will also enjoy simple Bible-based activities.

Thank you for sharing your little ones with us! Each week we strive to present Biblical truths in creative, memorable ways. We seek to partner with parents in modeling loving, Christian relationships while providing exciting opportunities for growth and learning for your kids. We do all of this so that a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ can begin.

The Preschool Ministry wants to instill a deep-rooted faith in our children. We start by focusing on teaching The Big 3:

  1. God made me.
  2. God loves me.
  3. Jesus wants to be my forever friend.

Clubhouse Chapel

Children’s preschool worship is an hour specifically designed to encourage children to build relationships with others their age, participate in a time of song/praise, and be presented with age-appropriate biblical lessons.

Preschoolers are moved to the large group worship room by their adult coach for Clubhouse Chapel. After worship is complete, children are escorted back to their original classroom and become involved in a time of planned follow-up and discussion of the Chapel lesson.

We encourage parents to get involved with what your child is studying and to make applications throughout the week. We offer several resources to assist you.

The Elementary Ministry wants to instill a deep-rooted faith in our children. We start by focusing on teaching The Big 3:

  1. I need to make the wise choice.
  2. I can trust God no matter what.
  3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Worship

Worship is designed for students in kindergarten through grade 5. They begin in small groups, then join together for an age-appropriate worship service. Every aspect of worship is designed to reinforce our BIG Idea for the month. Students sing high-energy worship songs, memorize Scripture, and participate in interactive Bible teaching. Upper Elementary students are offered an opportunity to take communion. After worship, they break into small group discussion.
