About High School Camp

High School Camp is a 5-day, 4-night camp experience located in Bowling Green, OH for incoming high school freshman through outgoing high school seniors that is guaranteed to be the highlight of their Summer. This camp experience is designed to help students find life-changing community and learn more about Jesus. For more information, please reference the FAQs below.

Registration

Registration will open at 12:00 p.m. on March 2, 2023 and close on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. Students must register with the campus they want to room with and be grouped in. A picture will be required for your child, so please have one ready to upload when you register.

The registration cost includes all accommodations, travel, and meals. Merchandise and snacks will be available for an additional cost throughout the week, but due to security concerns, we do not allow takeout/delivery orders. Students are welcome to bring snacks.

Leader Registration

If you are interested in serving as a leader at High School Camp, please scroll to the bottom of the page and email your campus contact. You will have to be an approved and cleared leader in order to serve. Price is $75 to serve as a leader.

Pricing

Student pricing is $425 with a $125 deposit at the time of registration.

Leader pricing is $75 due at the time of registration.

Financial aid is available, and the application is to be filled out during registration.

Dates & Campuses

June 19-23: All campuses

Students need to check in at their campus and ride the bus and return on the bus.  If an exception needs to be made, you will request a Travel Exception form from your campus which has to be completed, signed, and returned to your campus. We will depart on June 19 and arrive home on June 23 from the campus that you registered with. More details on how departure works will be available once registration is complete.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do sleeping arrangements look like?

Gender-specific rooms are assigned by campus. We will match roommates based upon your request during registration. Each room is supervised by our small group leaders. Adults and students do not share beds.

How do you determine small group and room assignments?

Small group and room assignments are based on gender and campus with two adult supervisors. We will use the information collected as part of the registration process to help determine small group and room assignments. This may include friend requests, small group, and school information. Our goal is for every student to be in a group with a friend.

Can family or friends visit High School Camp?

Due to security concerns, no visitors are allowed at High School Camp.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please list all dietary restrictions when completing registration so we can plan to accommodate your restriction. Students are welcome to bring snacks/food with them. If you have additional concerns or questions, please contact your campus Student Ministry.

What is the schedule of a typical day at High School Camp?

We start the day with breakfast and then a morning session of worship and teaching.  We then have small group time and lunch.  Each afternoon we have options of intramural tournaments like basketball, volleyball, kickball, and ultimate Frisbee. We also have lots of hang time with your friends playing 9-square, spikeball, games/cards, skate park, and indoor swimming in an Olympic-size pool.  Each evening we have dinner, a night session with worship and teaching, time to circle up with your campus, and theme night activities before curfew.

What do students need to bring to High School Camp?

Recommended Packing List:

Bible
Pen & journal/notebook
Comfortable clothing for 5 days. Most people bring athletic/active clothes for the morning/afternoon and a change of clothes for the evening after they shower.
Swimsuit (girls must wear modest 1-piece, and boys may not wear speedos)
Towel for pool/shower
Toiletries/shower needs
Toothbrush & toothpaste
Pillow, sheets (twin size bed), blanket or sleeping bag
Sunscreen
Sunglasses
Technology: Parent’s discretion. If they are a distraction, we will hold on to them.
Snacks (no energy drinks or snacks with peanuts)
Optional: Cash for merchandise and snacks
